Charity Scamathon The sad fact is, I just saw one of these wonderful gifts on eBay where they came out and said the person had donated it to a "charity" and now this private party is selling it on eBay for 100% profit! It isn't like they are all scams, and as long as these charit front groups tell you they are going to turn around and sell your donation, fine. There is nothing wrong with legitimate charities turning a profit on donations if the gift-giver knows that is what they are going to do and doesn't have a problem with it. But I suspect that this is often not the case, although I can't prove it. Making The Choice Giving the gift of a vehicle is a big deal, especially consideringyour personal investment, so you should choose carefully. You've invested yourself and your hard-earned dollars in a vehicle that you are now going to just give away. Shouldn't something really good come out of this?
