This outline description is not a complete description of the various coverage plans. The El Monte RV rental contract contains the complete legal provisions of the plans. Public Liability (included in nightly rate) El Monte RV maintains insurance coverage for liability claims, property damage and / or personal injuries resulting from the operation of an El Monte RV vehicle. Coverage provides third party legal limits to protect the renter and authorized drivers. Liability coverage is limited to the minimum financial limits determined by the US state or Canadian province in which the incident occurred. Claims in excess of the state or province limits may arise. These claims are the responsibility of the renter. El Monte RV assumes no responsibility for such liability claims unless client has purchased the Supplemental Liability Insurance Vehicle Incident Protection (VIP) (included in nightly rate) Jurisdiction: USA and Canada VIP coverage reduces the renter’s responsibility to $700 per occurrence in case of overhead damage, undercarriage damage, damage from vehicle back up, vandalism, theft or windshield damage regardless of fault and for costs incurred in transporting damaged vehicle to the rental station, including towing and storage, provided renter is in compliance with the terms and conditions of the rental contract. Certain exclusions apply, see below. VIP only covers damage to the motor home or vehicle itself while under the rental contract and does not in any way limit the renter’s responsibility for liability claims, property damage, and / or personal injuries (see Pubic Liability above). Deductible : Per occurrence: $700 - provided the following exclusions have not occurred. This deductible in non-refundable under any circumstances. Exclusions: Include but are not limited to the following: Use of a rental vehicle in violation of the terms and conditions of the rental contract. Motor home or vehicle damage caused while driving under the influence of alcohol and/or narcotics. Accidents arising out of the use of a rental vehicle by an unauthorized driver. Costs incurred in transporting damaged vehicle to the rental station, including towing and storage, while traveling in Alaska or Northern Canada. Interior damage. Damage during off-road use. Overheating or freezing of rental vehicle systems. Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI) (included in the nightly rate) Jurisdiction: USA and Canada Supplemental Liability Insurance provides excess auto liability insurance that protects the renter for the difference between the underlying insurance and up to $1,000,000 against claims by a third party for bodily injury and / or property damage sustained as a result of an accident while operating the El Monte RV rental vehicle. If the renter resides outside the United States and is covered by a foreign Liability Insurance policy, the foreign Liability Insurance coverage will be excess/secondary over the SLI purchased pursuant to the rental contract. There is no deductible with the Supplemental Liability Insurance. Motor home or vehicle damage caused while driving under the influence of alcohol and/or narcotics. Accidents arising out of the use of a rental vehicle by an unauthorized driver. RV Rental Information From Go RVing - Renting an RV, Motorhome or Travel Trailer Search The RV Roundup Buying an RV Renting an RV RV Shows RV Manufacturers RV Dealers RV Suppliers RV Virtual Tours Print this Page Renting an RV Never owned an RV and thinking about buying one? Consider renting one and taking an extended "testdrive" with your family and belongings. Before you rent... Determine whether you want to rent an RV near your home and drive it to your destination or fly to your vacation location and rent an RV there. Many larger rental companies offer fly-drive packages. Make sure you have a valid driver's license and can prove your age. Rental companies do not all have the same required minimum driving age, so check before you go if you have any doubts. Check with your car insurance carrier to see if your rental RV is covered under your current policy. If not, or if coverage is not adequate, you may need additional coverage from the rental agency. Why Rent? Renting enables you to try various types of RVs and learn from actual experience which onebest suits your particular needs. Or, perhaps you already know and enjoy the RV lifestyle but aren'tready to own. Of course, many people rent RVs simply for the fun, freedom, and flexibility of RVing. What to Rent? Motorhomes are the most popular rental model. However, travel trailers, truck campers, and folding camping trailers are available at some rental outlets. Most RV rental companies provide "housekeeping" packages (dishes, pots, pans, etc.) for a nominalfee. RV rental dealers fully instruct customers in the operation of their vehicles. Even if you're driving or towing an RV for the first time, features like automatic transmissions, power brakes and steering makeit easy for experienced drivers to adjust to the difference in size, height and weight. Where to Rent? More than 460 national chain outlets and local RV dealerships rent RVs, and manyoffer state-of-the-art, late model year units. A growing number of campgrounds also offer on-siterentals. To find a rental company near you, click here . Don't forget your local yellow pages! Winnebago County has been

Winnebago County, IL Winnebago County, IL Genealogy The Winnebago County area is referred to as the Stateline, because it borders the State of Wisconsin. I have tried to include in these pages, information for genealogical research both in the County and outside of the County. Information on locations outside of Winnebago County has been useful to me in my own research, and I would like to suggest that research in Wisconsin may be of value to you also. Examples. . . *Illinois residents with Scandinavian ancestry enlisted in Wisconsin to join regiments with others who shared the same background and *Lake Geneva, WI was a resort town and a great place to get married, so was Winona MN, by the way. The Rockford Public Library has an excellent collection for your genealogical research, the second largest in the state for a public library. The library now has over 50 rolls of Winnebago County vital records. They also have all the census schedules for Illinois and Wisconsin. An important Illinois location outside of Winnebago County that should be considered is the Regional History Center - IRAD at Northern Illinois University. Some of the oldest County Records are located there, and they will do research for you. Also, as a general rule, the Wisconsin State Historical Society is a better location for research of census records and is not as crowded as the National Archives in Chicago. The Ida Public Library in Belvidere, Boone County, IL, has a complete set of registers of Civil War enlistments for the state of Illinois. (See Boone County for the address.) GEICO Prepare Your Car for Vacation Home Page | Privacy Policy | Contact Us | Site Map Search -- Shop for Auto Insurance Manage My Auto Policy Auto Insurance Claims Overseas Auto Insurance About GEICO Auto Insurance Auto Safety Make Sure Your Car is Ready for the Trip Your family vacation is getting close. You are excited about spending quality time with your family and getting away for a few days. However, before hitting the open road don’t forget to make sure that your car is up to the task. This checklist provides you with peace of mind and could alert you to any trouble as you get ready to head down the highway: Check engine oil — level should be between the "add" and "full" marks. If it’s low, add a quart, but don’t overfill. If oil appears to be dark or opaque, it’s probably time for an oil change. Check coolant — coolant keeps your car from overheating. Make sure that the level is between "high" and "low." Remember that the cooling system operates best when the coolant is a 50/50 mixture of water and antifreeze. Check belts and hoses — look for cracks and signs of wear, especially on the fan belt. Check the coolant hoses for leakage and cracks. Replace if they appear to be worn. Check tires — make sure there are no cuts or bulges and that the tires still have good tread. Check the pressure with a pressure gauge and add air if needed (maximum amount of pressure is noted on the outside of the tire). Also, don’t forget to check your spare tire, just in case. Check lights — turn on all your lights and walk around your car to make sure that all lights are functioning properly. Also, ask someone to stand behind your car while you test your brake lights. Just to be on the safe side, you should also include an emergency kit in your car comprising of a quart of oil, a gallon of water, some basic tools, jumper cables, gloves, a flashlight with spare batteries, duct tape, a first aid kit, flares, and the most important tool of all...your cell phone. If you encounter any trouble while checking out your car, make sure to have a professional mechanic inspect your vehicle prior to your departure. We're here 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
