RV America On Line
RV News Special Advertisement Visit Web Site RV America On Line Click Company Name for more information on Advertiser Next Generation Inventory Management Module RV America On Line has released the next version of its Inventory ManagementModule for RV dealers to display their inventories effectively on their web sites.. The new Inventory Management Module (IMM) gives RV dealers much more controlover how their information is presented to potential customers. For example, one newfeature is a payment calculator. Dealers can turn this feature on or off from the managementside of the IMM. Not only that, but they can pre-set the interest rate so the usercan calculate their payments based on realistic data on any RV in the dealers inventory. Other new features of the new IMM version include a "Make an Offer" reply form and a"Wish List" form for customers to tell dealers what they are looking for both of which canbe turned off or on from the dealers management side. Theres much more, but the most important aspect of the program is that it makes it much easier and fasterfor dealers to manage their on line inventories. Marine Inventory Management Module For those RV dealerships that also sell marine products, RV America On Line has developed a new Marine Inventory Management Module. If you have a need for the Marine Module, contact us and we will add it to your site. There is a $100 set up fee and a monthly service fee of $40. More than 150 RV dealers currently useRV Americas IMM. It not only gives dealersan effective way to display their inventory online, but RV America uses their inventoryto drive more traffic to the dealers web siteby incorporating it into other RV AmericaNetwork sites. In addition to inventorycoming up on the dealers site, it also comesup on the RV America web site when consumerssearch for pre-owned RVs and on RVDealersweb site (www.rv-dealers.com) and AllRV Sales (www.allrvsales.com). Web Site Management Launches RV Employment Web Site T he latest expansion of the RV America Network is a new web site designed to make it easier for employers to recruit RV talent. The web site is www.rvemployment.com . The RV Employment web site is a new concept that integrates an employment module into the clients web site so the job listings come up on the clients site, but at the same time the information is posted to our national database of RV jobs available. Clients may subscribe to the service for an annual fee which gives them an unlimited number of job postings. For example, an RV manufacturer, supplier or distributor can subscribe for $600 per year and post hundreds of ads throughout the year. Subscription rates vary. As an example, an RV dealer that is recruiting from a region rather than nationally would only pay $400 per year. The new employment feature is free to current RV America customers. Individual ads would be accepted at the rate of $250 per ad for help wanted ads and run for 60 days or until the position is filled for national ads, and $150 per ad for regional ads. Currently, job category listings include sales, management, F&I, Service, Rentals, miscellaneous and positions wanted, but new categories will be added as the need arises. Position wanted ads for people looking for employment in the RV industry would be on an individual basis at $25 per ad that would run for 60 days. Recreation Vehicle Frequently Asked
Massachusetts Boat and Recreation Vehicle Safety Bureau James J. Hanlon, Director Boat and Recreation Vehicle Safety Bureau This Bureau coordinates boating and recreational vehicle safety programs throughout the Commonwealth. Boat Massachusetts addresses fundamental safety concepts and emphasizes the operator's legal and ethical responsibilities. It targets the boating novice, especially young boaters (12 through 15 years of age), who are required by state law to complete such a course in order to operate a motorboat without adult supervision. Additionally, safety and legal demonstrations are offered to groups of boaters, snowmobilers, and all-terrain-vehicle users, with programs tailored to a group's particular needs. The Bureau informs and educates the public through the development of media campaigns designed for TV, radio, and the print media, in addition to attending trade shows and public events with its safety exhibit. The Bureau is also responsible for the investigation of all motorboat and recreational vehicle accidents that cause substantial property damage, serious injuries, or fatalities.
