In most cases, your homeowners policy does not provide such coverage either. Your homeowners policy may cover you while some types of these motor vehicles are being used on your premises, otherwise specific coverage has to be arranged. These are better covered under specific recreational vehicle type coverage. Do not assume you have coverage Unfortunately, there have been some serious recreational vehicle accidents that have resulted in death claims. We urge you to be sure your insurance program provides the necessary coverages. In most cases, neither your automobile policy nor your home insurance policy provides cover for motorcycles, snowmobiles or other recreation vehicles. Insurance policies designed specifically for recreation vehicles are available through Aon. Program Information This is a 60-hour course with 48 hours theory and 12 hours practical. The course is offered as required by industry, and delivered using the Internet as a distance delivery method. The 48 hours of theory is usually delivered twice a week for 3 hours in evenings. The 12 hours practical requires the technician to travel to Kelowna for one weekend.
