In most cases, your homeowners policy does not provide such coverage either. Your homeowners policy may cover you while some types of these motor vehicles are being used on your premises, otherwise specific coverage has to be arranged. These are better covered under specific recreational vehicle type coverage. Do not assume you have coverage Unfortunately, there have been some serious recreational vehicle accidents that have resulted in death claims. We urge you to be sure your insurance program provides the necessary coverages. In most cases, neither your automobile policy nor your home insurance policy provides cover for motorcycles, snowmobiles or other recreation vehicles. Insurance policies designed specifically for recreation vehicles are available through Aon.
