University of Illinois Extension - Winnebago County Welcome to Our Website! The Winnebago County Extension Office sponsors 4-H programs for youth, horticulture programs for adults and youth, and programs for families on a variety of family and consumer science topics. Training is provided to our Master Gardener volunteers who sponsor a horticulture hot line, oversee community gardens, and host a program to provide fresh produce for the homeless and underprivileged. PLAN TO JOIN US for our upcoming GARDENING FOR FOOD AND FUN EVENT at Rock Valley College Stenstrom Center on Saturday, March 4, 2006. What's the difference between a campervan and a motorhome, you may ask? It seems to be a matter of opinion, but one difference is size: campervans are usually small, built on something about the size of a Volkswagen Kombi, while motorhomes are larger. Another difference is that most campervans do not have showers and toilets built in, while motorhomes do have those facilities. Until about 5-10 years ago, rental (or even purchased) motorhomes were unusual. Now they're very common and popular. In addition to several commercial magazines, there's an owners' club (that anyone can join) that publishes useful booklets on places to stay and other valuable information.
